Over and over, I kept seeing information about it. Plus my primary business is services – not blogging.
Then, I jumped!
Took a leap of faith and purchased the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit! (FYI – I purchased it again)

The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit is packed with high quality content plus there is a ton of it!
It is an awesome place to learn everything and anything you wanted to know about running a blog (or didn’t want to know). The online world moves at a fast pace and it is necessary to stay up-to-date with current trends.
If you needed to learn more about anyone of these topics, you would spend 4-10x the cost of the whole bundle plus bonuses!
That was my final deciding factor in purchasing the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit in 2016 & 2017.

Here is my Review of Specific Sections of the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit 2016:
Sticky Blogging SEO by Kelly Holmes
This course alone was worth purchasing the bundle. I learned so many strategies in one course. I started at zero organic search traffic. Nothing from the search engines. Over the course of a couple months, that has totally changed.
Currently, half of my website traffic is from organic search traffic.
I can credit that to this course and this course alone. In case you missed as part of the bundle, you can still take it here. Just to test what I learned in action…. google “shop for clothes on a budget” or “stay on budget at Christmas.” See the results for yourself!
Pinterest Traffic Secrets by Bob Lotich
At this point, I had ZERO knowledge of Pinterest. I didn’t use it personally because I didn’t want to download the app to my phone (totally stupid, I know that now). So, this course helped explain the basics of Pinterest, which is what I needed.
Again, extremely helpful and useful information. The only thing I don’t like about Bob’s course is the follow/unfollow tactic. It is completely tacky and not a genuine way to grow a Pinterest following. Other than that, I found the course beneficial.
This is a great tool to help automate your Pinterest scheduling.
Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers by Tasha Agruso
Tasha’s tips are key for conversions. Affiliate marketing is great if and only if you get conversions. That is the one area my affiliate income changed for the better.
In this course, you learn to understand your audience as well as how to monetize various types of posts. The videos are in-depth and full of helpful information.
In case you missed as part of the bundle, you can still take it here.

Asana for Bloggers
The current app I used for tasks wasn’t updated by the developer any more. Sigh. So, I have been actively searching for an alternative. I needed to something to manage my growing list of to-do’s.
Asana crossed my radar, but it seemed too complicated for my situation – business and home life. After going through Matt’s course, I learned how to use asana for my situation. Much easier than I anticipated.
Bonus was Matt showed how it worked with his business and learned tips I totally did not expect. But, I implemented them in my business.
Check out the Asana for Bloggers course. Even better, check out all of MoneyLab’s courses.
List Building Jumpstart by Laura Smith
This course is great to understand what is needed to start growing your email list and fast! Laura lays out all of the information wonderfully plus includes an easy to follow guide. Personally, my list has grown by leaps and bounds from implementing her steps.
This is a great email marketing tool to use.
Pinaffiliate Masterclass by Adeline Ganley
This course helped to take my Pinterest activity to the next level! Adeline outlines everything in a fashion that is easy to follow. One area I liked is she broke it down into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels for your affiliate marketing.
For my business, affiliate marketing is not and will never be the main source of income. However, it is nice to learn how to create passive income.
Other Helpful Courses and eBooks:
- 17 Strategies I Used to Go from Creating and Maintaining an Editorial Calendar
- Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers
- Facebook Ads for Beginners
- Stop Guessing: Your Step by Step Guide to Creating a Social Media Strategy
- Done-For-You Blog Content Creation Kit
- And I only mentioned 11 out of the 62 resources!!!
- I plan to dig into more courses and ebooks over the next couple of months.
To be honest, there are some resources that are just fluff. Not much meat on them. However, they are quick to identify and move on. Overall, there are way more nuggets of gold and help than fluff.
There is definitely something in this bundle for you, too.

Bonuses!
Too many to name, but wow the bonuses are worth more than the whole bundle of products. Some of my personal favorites that I use plus couldn’t run my business without: Convertkit, ViralTag, and BoardBooster. (NOTE: These bonuses change in every bundle)
No more Boardbooster today, so I switched to Tailwind. Make sure to request to join my tribe, too!
Working Through the Courses
The final note I will discuss is time. I wish I had more time to dig into more of the eCourses and eBooks. Right now, my life is busy. I stay-at-home mom to my young kids while I run my business online. Life and schedules are busy.
So, how do I find time to learn more to grow my business?
I watch the eCourses while making dinner, folding laundry, waiting in the pickup line at school. I just carry my handy notebook to take notes on key learnings. For what I need to implement, I add those straight to Asana.
If growing your blog and business is important, you too can find the time necessary to learn and educate yourself.
All in all, I highly recommend the Genius Blogger Toolkit. Each year it varies and there are new courses and eBooks. The blogging world is constantly revolving and changing, so staying up on trends is a must.
Both Genius Blogger Toolkit have helped me immensely. I am happy with my purchases. The price spent was definitely worth the money. Hopefully, my honest review of the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit will help in your decision making on whether to purchase or not.

Other Resources Worth Considering
Genius Blogger Toolkit is great. However, if you are looking for a smaller group or support and knowledge, another avenue may be best for you. Also, if you want to follow a roadmap, then the Genius Blogger Toolkit may have too many resources and lead you to overwhelm.
Recently, I joined Dare to Conquer (formerly Billionaire Blog Club).
Yes, this is a heftier investment.
But, the ongoing community and continuous learning is fabulous. Once you join the club, you are guaranteed access to ALL NEW TRAININGS. That is huge! Most bloggers keep them separate and a price for each.
It opens on rare occasions, but you can learn more here. Plus it is just $1 to check it out.
Make sure to join my biz tips email list and I will notify you then as well.
Not ready for a huge cash investment, check out this Newly Released book on Amazon. I had the privilege to be a part of the launch group. For pennies, you can start your blogging journey or improve what you already started.
Hopefully, my insights to the

Okay, see, this is why I can’t buy any more courses and e-books – because I bought this last year and have barely touched it! Thanks for the reminder to dig in. Looks like SO much material! Glad you got a lot out of it.
Thanks for this. I want to purchase this the next time around! It sounds amazing & worth the money!
