AppSumo

Some of my favorite products have come from AppSumo. It is a great way to get in on the newest platforms for a fraction of the price.

Also, AppSumo is great to save money on your business expenses. Many of their deals are one-time only fees. So, you don’t have the monthly maintenance fees, which will save you thousands over the long term.

Their deals are constantly rotating, so check back often.

Accounting and Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping for your own business is probably the hardest thing for many people. Many people use QuickBooks, however, for simpler accounting for most people it is too complicated and cumbersome.

Better Ways to Track Expenses:

Scheduling Social Media

Social media is a part of every small business owner’s day whether you like it or you don’t. There are many schedulers out there for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. But, the reason I prefer PromoRepublic is simple.

They have precreated graphics to use. Plus you can edit photos within their platform. It make everything very very easy.

Check out PromoRepublic today.

ViralTag is another option. For Pinterest scheduling, I only recommend Tailwind.

Website Basics

Website Hosting:

This site wouldn’t run without Siteground. I started with GoDaddy originally and was torn between GoDaddy and Bluehost.  I have been happy with Siteground; their support team helpful and responsive. Plus SSL certificate is included for the first year!

Domain Name:

For many years, I have used GoDaddy for domain purchases and renewals. Due to recommendations, I switched to Namecheap. Very happy with the switch. Plus my inbox isn’t litter with advertising emails from GoDaddy. My pick is Namecheap.
